On January 16th, 2025, Netflix officially announced that Greta Gerwig's first Narnia film will debut exclusively in IMAX theatres, for a four-week run, beginning Thanksgiving Day 2026. The adaptation of C.S. Lewis's The Chronicles of Narnia will hit approximately 1,000 IMAX screens worldwide, with a streaming release on Netflix scheduled for Christmas 2026. Filming is said to be set to begin in July, 2025.
