Fox has given a series order to “The Faithful,” a Biblical series centered on five women from the Book of Genesis. Carol Mendelsohn executive produces the project via her overall deal at the network.

“The Faithful” will run for six episodes over the course of three weeks around Easter and Passover and follow Sarah, Hagar, Rebekah, Leah and Rachel, whose descendants were foundational figures in Christianity, Judaism and Islam. Per the logline, the series is told through the eyes of the courageous and passionate, yet flawed women” and tells stories of “discovering and losing love, the challenges of marriage, the joys and heartbreak of children, confronting temptation and finding faith.”

With its macabre one-liners, revolving door of guest stars, and endless imagined homicides, "CSI" is one of the most recognizable network TV franchises of all time. The Masked Singer is back!

A new episode of season 13 of the hit Fox singing competition series aired on Wednesday night (March 19).

The show, which began in South Korea, features celebrities singing songs while wearing costumes and face masks concealing their identities until they’re eliminated. Throughout the season, the contestants provide clues to try and help the judges and fans figure out who is under the mask.

This season includes the new costumed character Detective Lucky Duck, who will help panelists “uncover who’s behind each mask.”

During the episode, Group B contestants Boogie Woogie, Griffin, and Pearl gave their latest performances of the season.

While on stage, Griffin performed “Take Me Home, Country Roads” by John Denver.

It’s Wednesday night, and you know what that means. Another celebrity had to go home on The Masked Singer season 13, episode 5.

It was Ghostbusters Night on the series, and that meant a few Ghostbusters and scary clues. Mckenna Grace and Ernie Hudson both made some guest appearances — one of them in person — to deliver some clues for the remaining four Group B singers.

There were a few clues that helped to cement a couple of ideas. I’m sticking with my theory that James Van Der Beek is Griffin, based on Mckenna Grace saying she co-starred with the person under the mask and that he was a great dad on the set. Grace played Van Der Beek’s daughter in CSI: Cyber.

I also fully agree with Rita and Jenny that it’s Flavor Flav under the Space Ranger mask.

James Van Der Beek is going public with his cancer diagnosis and makes it clear that he's feeling optimistic about his prospects and is navigating the disease with the help of his family.

In an exclusive statement given to People, Van Der Beek revealed that he has colorectal cancer, which begins in the colon or rectum and makes up the large intestine and is often grouped with colon cancer or rectal cancer because they have many symptoms in common. The actor didn't disclose when he was diagnosed or how long he has been battling the disease, but he sounded very optimistic about his prospects. Van Der Beek said, "I have colorectal cancer. I've been privately dealing with this diagnosis and have been taking steps to resolve it, with the support of my incredible family. There's reason for optimism, and I'm feeling good."

The “Dawson’s Creek” actor recently told People about his cancer diagnosis, saying, “I’ve been privately dealing with this diagnosis and have been taking steps to resolve it, with the support of my incredible family.”

Van Der Beek added, “There’s reason for optimism, and I’m feeling good.”

Colorectal cancer, which begins in the colon or rectum, is the third most common cancer diagnosed in both men and women in the U.S., according to American Cancer Society. In the U.S., about 1 in 23 men and 1 in 25 women will be diagnosed with his form of cancer in their lifetime.

Van Der Beek is known for playing the titular Dawson Leery in “Dawson’s Creek” from 1998 to 2003. He has also worked on the series “Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23,” “Friends With Better Lives,” “CSI: Cyber” and “Pose.

Emmy Award winner Patricia Arquette will headline Hulu’s Murdaugh Murders limited series.

The CSI franchise is not dead despite CSI: Vegas' cancelation, with CBS teasing a new spinoff in development. Characters like Catherine Willows, Maxine Roby, and Dr. Langston could potentially lead future CSI spinoffs. Fan-favorite characters like Nick Stokes, Mac Taylor, and Eric Delko, among others, also deserve their own spinoffs.

Although CBS has sadly canceled CSI: Vegas after only three seasons, that doesn't mean the CSI franchise is dead, seeing as the universe contains several characters who could (and should) receive spinoffs, even if some of them haven't appeared in any show for more than a decade. There are plenty of CSI shows that many would like to see after CSI: Vegas' cancelation, ranging from series revolving around the return of beloved characters to ones featuring a new cast in a new city. Whatever the case, the latest CSI revival won't likely be the final installment in the police procedural franchise.

Some of the best CSI moments happened between 2004 & 2012, with multiple crossovers and memorable episodes each week. Exclusive: Anthony E. Zuiker, the creator of the hugely successful CSI TV franchise, has signed with boutique management firm Literate.

This marks a rare new addition to Zuiker’s close-knit representation team, nicknamed affectionately by the writer-producer “Team Zuiker,” who has been shaping his career and brand for more than two decades.

It follows the January death of Zuiker’s beloved manager of over 25 years, Margaret Riley, most recently of Lighthouse Entertainment, who passed away from cancer at the age of 58.

The CSI universe once had three shows airing at the same time, with new cases in Vegas, Miami, and New York every week. Kenneth Mitchell, best known for his countless roles on Star Trek: Discovery roles, has died.

He was 49.

Mitchell’s family revealed the sad news via social media on Saturday evening.

The actor’s cause of death is from complications from Als.

“With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Kenneth Alexander Mitchell, beloved father, husband, brother, uncle, son and dear friend,” the statement reads in part.

Kenneth Mitchell, who played several characters in Star Trek: Discovery, and also was known for his roles in Jericho and Captain Marvel, has died from complications of Als, his family revealed Saturday. He was 49.

“With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Kenneth Alexander Mitchell, beloved father, husband, brother, uncle, son and dear friend,” his family shared on X/Twitter.

“For five and a half years, Ken faced a series of awful challenges from Als. And in truest Ken fashion, he managed to rise above each one with grace and commitment, to living a full and joyous life in each moment. Every CSI show, except for CSI: Vegas, can be watched without any prior knowledge of the previous series. CSI: Miami ended three years before the original CSI, despite premiering two years after. CSI: Cyber was the shortest-running entry in the franchise, with only 31 episodes aired.

The complete CSI timeline consists of five main shows, and the franchise has been on the air for the past 23 years between the original series, spinoffs, and the most recent revival. Considering the number of shows in the saga, as well as all the CSI crossover episodes, getting into this universe for the first time can be overwhelming. Fortunately, apart from the crossovers and backdoor pilots, almost every CSI show stands on its own and can be watched without any knowledge of the previous series.

The only exception is CSI: Vegas, which, despite introducing new characters and having its own tone, acts as a revival of the original CSI.

The success of CSI spin-offs relies on a compelling dynamic between characters, both in the lab and outside of work. CSI: Vegas benefits from familiar faces from the original series, but the team's balance is still finding its stride. CSI: Miami's success comes from providing intricate backstories for characters, but it could result in uneven development within the group.

Per TVLine, the loss of Burnett's Detective Grace Muncy was made evident during Thursday’s two-hour Svu/Organized Crime crossover episode, which also served as the finale for both series. In the first half, Muncy is heard discussing the potential move to a task force position, which is further indicated when Ice Cube's Detective Fin Tutuola tells her that he will miss her. Together, these sequences confirmed the offer and Muncy's acceptance of another job outside the purview of the eponymous Special Victims Unit.
