In the world of short film romances. Here, the screenplay is effective at generating some engaging sexual tension right from the beginning. No illogical events randomly thrown in to side track the romance....no overly stupid character roles.
The basic plot line is a girl who intentionally causes a rift with her boyfriend to compel him to leave the town and pursue a career building experience abroad. He returns a billionaire and acquires her employer company to come back and win her back.
The only flaw in the screenplay is to have the now billionaire boyfriend taunt her for too long in a bit of a revenge play. A few scenes would be understandable, but not for 80% of the movie.
Seth Edeen plays the boyfriend and he certainly has the cool looks for the plot line to be credible. His only flaw is that he has not mastered a natural acting persona....he delivers some of his lines too stiffly.
Alena Savostikova on the other hand plays all of her different scenes impressively. She mixes a vulnerability to her feelings of love with a tough, smart-alec defense to the boyfriend's taunting come-ons. This Russian model is fetchingly beautiful with minimal make-up. It's very credible that the boyfriend cannot forget her despite his success.
One of the best 'shorts-app' romance movies I have come across.
