Perhaps the most inaccurate and stupid movie I have had to witness. It is simply ... horrible in every aspect, and most notable in historical.
Your better off buying a rubber mallet and hitting yourself in the head.
The historical accuracy is terrible. The general acting like a horse is so stupid when you consider Jackson's character. He was stiff, rude, unfriendly and and the personality of a carrot.. without being simmered in brown sugar.
Gettysburg the film is way better a portrayal of the Civil War...
If you want to watch this dopey flick... take a shot no two of bourbon.
If you have any tiny bit of history knowledge you will realize how dopey this movie is. Only movie i think that is more inaccurate is: Santa Fe Trail.
