Com Truise: Propagation

A man owns an android woman who methodically succumbs to all his wishes. But she is emotionless (which is what he wants). The problem with science fiction androids is that they sometimes begin to have feelings. Then, watch out. This is a pretty good film. Well conceived and executed.

Maybe, a Sci. Fi. in fact, a thriller. a good one. for the minimalist performance of Trieste Kelly Dunn. for the discover of truth and the terrible answer. sure, for the soundtrack. but the piece who did so powerfull this short film is the familiar imagges. portrait of ordinary housewife, it could be discovered as a sort of manifesto. and that defines it as precise image of a chain of small gestures presented in 4 minutes as ingredients of routine. the change has iits brilliant aspect of wake up.

In the late 1960s, Philip K. Dick published Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? This novel later became highly influential in the creation of Blade Runner, one of the most recognized sci-fi films in history. In Com Truise: Propagation, or simply Propagation, we are presented with another thought-provoking question: Can androids become depressed? That question lies at the heart of this short sci-fi film.

Propagation follows a female android designed to serve and fulfill her owner's every desire-even the most intimate and physical ones. Over time, however, she becomes increasingly aware of her robotic nature and the fact that she exists solely as a slave to the man who owns her. The film explores her awakening and the transformation that unfolds as she begins to break away from her programmed obedience and subservience.

A lot happens within this short film, yet it effectively feels longer than its four-minute runtime. It appears to function as a music video, though distinguishing between the film and the music video is challenging-they blend into a single, well-woven narrative. The story delivers a few unexpected twists, though the ending, as a whole, feels somewhat less surprising.
