When I first wrote Boar I wanted it to be R Rated as well, really violent kills and gore like my past films, people seemed to really love the kills in Charlie’s Farm and the Torture in Daddy’s Little Girl. I wanted the fans to get that same feeling and enjoyment from the bloodshed in Boar. I wrote Boar to be funny when it had to be funny and serious when it had to be serious. The trailer for the Australian Outback horror movie Boar is finally here and it features, you guessed it, a giant killer pig. Chris Sun (Charlie's Farm) directed Boar and it features an all-star cast getting ready to turn into wild boar food, including John Jarratt, Simone Buchanan, Bill Moseley, Melissa Tkautz, Nathan Jones, Roger Ward, Hugh Sheridan, Ernie Dingo, Chris Haywood, Ricci Guarnaccio, Emily Williams, and Steve Bisley. The trailer looks dark and intense with even some insight into the killer hog's point of view.

The Boar movie was originally supposed to come out in July of 2016, but in ran into some financing difficulties, which the production has overcome. Horror fans have been waiting nearly 2 years to see what was up with Chris Sun's new offering, and it does not disappoint. The trailer features a boar in the Australian outback, which is staggering in size, with a non-stop, driving lust for blood and destruction.

Australia’s premier genre film festival, Monster Fest returns for its seventh year this November 23rd to 26th at Melbourne’s Lido Cinemas with a mix of World, Australian & Victorian Premieres! The 2017 chapter of Monster Fest, takes on a very Australian flavour – the first wave announcement includes not one, but Six(!) brand new Australian feature films, most of which will be enjoying their World Premieres at the festival.

AthenaX Levendi, married to an Australian Greek jewellery designer who owns and runs Levendi Jewellers; ex-model turned real estate agent Krissy Marsh; mother of two (and wife of David) Lisa Oldfield; cosmetic nurse and beauty expert Matty Samaei; actress, model and singer Melissa Tkautz; party planner and former Miss Australia Nicole O.Neil; and entrepreneurial mum and social scene queen Victoria Rees. .

The ten-part, one-hour series is again produced by Matchbox Pictures in conjunction with Foxtel..

The Real Housewives of Melbourne, which has so far run for three seasons,.was produced by Euan Jones and executive produced by Kylie Washington and Lisa Potasz.

Fenech: Brain behind Housos

Sbs has commissioned another series of nine episodes of Paul Fenech’s politically incorrect comedy Housos.

Production of the new series – set in a fictional housing commission block in Sunnyvale – starts in Sydney’s western suburbs on Monday.

The cast includes Encore columnist Jason ‘Jabba’ Davis, Habib Tahir, Melissa Tkautz, Amanda Keller and Angry Anderson. Narrator Ian Turpie passed away in March this year.

Since it first aired on Sbs, Fenech has also shot a Housos feature film.

Tony Iffland, Sbs’s director of television and online content, said: “Housos became hugely successful with its tongue-in-cheek humour. The new season will continue our commitment to commissioning and supporting Australian content and talent. We are delighted to be working with Paul again on a second series.

Fenech – best known for Fat Pizza – said: “The new season of Housos gives fans the chance to unite and get in touch with their inner-bogan.

Series two of Swift & Shift Couriers, created and directed by Paul Fenech (Fat Pizza) will premiere on Sbs August 1, 8.30pm.

Expect Fenech’s unique brand of politically incorrect humour for round two.

Fenech, Ian Turpie, Melissa Tkautz, Amanda Keller and Angry Anderson return with their ragtag work mates to the Hashfield Depot in the wake of tight times.
