I finished the first episode of watcher. It's basically a 6/10 😂. Theres nothing special about it, It's all been done before, if it's your first horror series its good but for me who's seen way better, not worth my time sitting though filler for some decent scenes.
People move into a house, weirdness, neighbors, things are happening that doesn't make sense. Different seeds of information planted, more and more revealed as you go which sort of connects together towards the end. Different characters doing their own thing with mystery and connections to different events and suspicious people. The suspense is just typical tv series suspense, slow and almost nothing happening, with the odd scene of things happening as if they are making progress in the story but really not. Now about the "The watcher" that sends letters and the whole conspiracy and things getting revealed little by little, the family getting weirded out until later it probably starts to make sense, this is literally something I would have wrote in primary/secondary school so nothing special here either. Its also just too too slow so about 15mins in, I started watching at 1.25x - 1.5x speed and was still Like..... meh. The character are just 2d in sense where they are rigid and written a certain way and stay like that throughout the series, the dialogue is simple one liners and just simple dialogue you can expect except the watcher who talks much differently but still felt like alot of nothing. This would be so much better as a 2 hour movie.
