The film is a blood feast, inspired by a manga. I know that Mai Chan is exactly an ero guro work. The brutality and violence of the film were my favorite points, it was exactly what made the film special and I would really like a sequel to this film, it seems like a sequel would suit Mai Chan because these characters are super-masochist. The violence of the film increases extremely towards the end and the effects were very good, I was completely mesmerized. The film did not fail to give me this much brutality and violence. Of course, I noticed Hegel's master-slave dialectic in the film, this Mai Chan is like a Hegelian interpretation of ero guro fantasies.

The film appears to have a different look in the cinema, but it presents it in an art-house way, with scenes of violence shot through like thermals. The film's dramatic atmosphere is intense, and it explores daily life issues and institutions through its internal monologue. Of course, Korine's influence is much more taboo-breaking, and I was expecting it to be much more dramatic, but the film is generally casual and can get a bit tedious at times. But I still recommend watching this Harmony Korine film. Aggro Drift seems to have made a comeback with a truly different style and atmosphere. It was interesting to see Travis Scott, too.
