I saw Bren Foster's interview with Scott Atkins in his YouTube TV channel - the art of action. I wanted to see this movie for a while in the United States, but could not, and finally thankfully Tubi had it. The movie was really amazing. It was different from all the other martial art movies that I've seen. You could tell that there was a lot of work that had been put into this movie. The action sequences are amazing. The martial arts choreography to the Stunt work, you could tell that the team had put in a lot of effort. I'm looking forward to more movies with this action star.
I was working out while I was watching this. I had to stop before I injured myself. I've been watching all his specials, and they never disappoint. As a matter of fact, people usually save their best jokes towards the end, but Deon just keeps firing on cylinders from the beginning till the end. The amazing part about his Stand Up is it doesn't matter whether you fast-forward or rewind, just be at a point where he is at the starting point of his specific punchline anywhere in the special, and you're going to start laughing. I took screenshots of couple of his jokes, and I forwarded to two of my friends and they started laughing.
A phenomenal movie of what the Shinobi had to go through. A movie about endurance, selflessness, and sacrifice. It's just amazing that a movie like this hasn't gotten more recognition. This was a made for TV movie in Japan, but thankfully for the company that runs samurai versus ninja and Tubi, this is now available to be watched in the United States. What I also liked about this movie is that the director and the crew also did their research adequately and not just throw something in there despite the budget was very limited. This will be an underground hit, hopefully with the fans of this genre. It is must watch for all the fans of samurai and ninja movies!
