First thing I'll say is that the cinematography and setting are beautiful. I did stay interested throughout the film but as someone else said, it leaves a lot to the imagination. As far as characters and atmosphere go- There are a few moments where I felt a jolt of terror run through me, but overall I had some difficultly connecting with the characters. This ultimately affected my reaction to certain events.
I won't put out any direct spoilers but I'll say this: If you know what a Wedigo is then this film will make a lot more sense. If you agree with my theory (or that something similar was at work) then you can see it especially begin to happen toward the last third of the film.
Overall, I'm glad I watched it- I usually enjoy these types of movies which are low budget and experimental and the audience is split down the middle. Not for people who don't like gore.
