Saiyaara , feels like a nostalgic yet fresh dive into Bollywood romance that hits you right in the feels. The story follows Krish, a fiery, ambitious musician, and Vaani, a shy lyricist recovering from heartbreak. The chemistry of lead pair, built through soulful songwriting sessions and raw emotional moments, is the heart of the film. The music is a standout, with tracks like Humsafar and Barbaad weaving seamlessly into the story, amplifying every emotional beat. The visuals rain-soaked streets, moody studios, and tender close-ups create a cinematic vibe that's both gritty and poetic. Both debutant did very good job.
Romantic drama enthusiasts especially fans of Mohit Suri's signature style like Aashiqui 2 or Ek Villain will adore the emotional intensity and music-driven storytelling. It might not click for those who prefer fast-paced plots or dislike predictable arcs. Overall something fresh for young audience after long time.

Sitaare Zameen Par is an absolute heart-stealer! As an Aamir Khan admirer, I went in with sky-high expectations, and I wasn't disappoint! Film is funny, emotional, and so inspiring! Aamir Khan's portrayal of Gulshan is so good! He plays a confident but flawed basketball coach who has to train a group of neurodivergent players. At first, he's like, "why me?" but soon he grows to love his team, calling them "my stars!" His journey feels so real and heartfelt. He's got that classic Aamir charm but with a raw, relatable edge. Each one sitaares are real MVPs. You'll totally love Satbir, Golu, Hargovind, and the whole team! Their scenes are so fun, making you laugh hard one moment and cry the next. The supporting cast, like Genelia, Dolly Ahluwalia and Brijendra Kala, adds such warmth and fun. The story, a remake of Champions, feels fresh for Bollywood, tackling inclusion with a big heart without being preachy. Sure, the second half drags a tiny bit, and it doesn't hit the Taare Zameen Par level of perfection (what could?!), but it's such a feel-good ride. It's like a warm hug that reminds you everyone's normal is beautiful. If you don't go to the theatre expecting TZP 2 then you will enjoy it more. Mr. Perfectionist is finally back after years.
After watching the trailer I was really excited for the film. Trailer promised a mix of humor, romance, and a touch of magic realism, but after watching the film it left me with mixed feelings. The film was neither bad nor excellent. Rajkummar Rao, as always, is a delight. His comic timing and frustrated-everyman energy carry the film, making you root for Ranjan even when the script falters. Wamiqa Gabbi brings a lively spark to Titli, though her character sometimes feels overly childish, which can grate. The supporting cast-Seema Pahwa, Raghubir Yadav, and Sanjay Mishra-delivers solid laughs. The film's first half is entertaining, with sharp dialogues and a few chuckle-worthy moments, like Ranjan's frantic attempts to navigate the time loop.
However, the movie stumbles in the second half. The time-loop concept, inspired by Groundhog Day, feels underutilized and repetitive without enough clever twists. It takes too long to get to the heart of the story, and the social commentary-touching on merit, morality, and societal apathy-feels forced, especially in a preachy climax that clashes with the film's comedic tone. The romance between Ranjan and Titli lacks depth; their chemistry is decent but never truly sparks. Some jokes, like recurring pregnancy quips, feel outdated and cringe-worthy.
The visuals capture Banaras beautifully, but the music is forgettable, with songs that disrupt the flow rather than enhance it. The resolution, while heartwarming, feels predictable and doesn't fully earn its emotional payoff.
Overall, Bhool Chuk Maaf is a decent movie for fans who love such a small-town comedies. It has moments of charm and humor but gets stuck in its own loop of clichés and uneven execution. If you're looking for a light, no-brainer entertainer, it's worth a shot, but don't expect a masterpiece comedy film.
