I was so excited for the next episode of the series as I liked previous ones a lot. However, unfortunatelly it ws a big disappoinments for me at the end. The plot was boring (but a little bit emotional) and was very different than what everybody might expect. There was no any excitement and scientific events. It was around some people living isolated some place in the world. If the name was something other than "28 years later", I'm sure nobody would be able to relate this one with previous successful episodes. Intro also was very cartoonic and seemed very fake and honestly I didn't find any relevence to the main plot other than very small part at the end which was completely useless.
Hollywood has a worldwild fame that can trick people to pay for movies and watch them just by employing well-known actors/actresses but the more I try those movies, the more I convince to not waste my time and money on their productions. Most of them has nothing to say and unluckily they are are built to sell a lot commercially, whether by celebrities, extreme actions and nudity. These days it is hard to find a good western movie or show to satisfy or entertain yourselves. I happen to watch dozens asian movies and can say with high confidentially, they are way better than their hollywood conterparts even with only 10% of their initial costs. They have a real professional story and producers din't produce movies just because they don't have anything better to do, but instead their works are just there with their own character, well-defined story with specific start and end points. I recommand to try Asian (South East Asian, mostly) and Europian (mostly spanish) movies to see the differences for yourselves. I'm fed up with the American movies.
I came across this movie while I was looking for a horror movie and after watching some trailers here and there, I chose to give it a try. Frankly saying it should not be categorized as horror movie and I can understand the low points people gave to the movie, as they expected to watch a real horror. But if you know this fact, them the movie suddenly turns into a good drama with good filming, directing and pretty good scenario and fine ending. I'm not sure if my tase is different from the rest of the crowd, but, I, for myself, loved watching the movie from end to end. There are times that you cannot judge a book by its cover, and I think the film deserve high rank than this.
