I saw this movie and then I read the reviews, and the later just don't fit. The movie was fun, it was well-acted, the rhythm was dynamic, intensive and fast, challenging you to follow on the sequence of actions and events, the music was great, Uma's outfits were so fashionable, hilarious situations were generously served... I could not want anything more from a comedy. I felt goosebumps from the love/romantic scenes as well (in positive terms that is). I could feel the chemistry between the main actors, while I think the supportive actors were well-placed too. Loved the father-daughter model that was presented. Also, I couldn't disagree more with reviews that doubt on matches from different backgrounds. Where do you guys live? It happens all the time and it has good potential. In my opinion, the movie was supposed to be fun, and it did achieve this after all. Overall, it was a good piece of work.

I was thinking what would be a good way to start my review. This movie surely evokes extreme controversial feelings. Why? Because, all the movie-making aspects (directing, script etc) were leading to that. Why? It could have been on purpose – which I hope it was. But it could have also been because of poor execution of the idea. I am leaving the cast out of the controversies though. They were simply great. Now, I like to think it delivers controversial feelings on purpose. Isn't it motivating to you guys when a movie does not give explanations on the plate? When it does make you wonder let's say what could have happened millenniums ago? Isn't it challenging to see that our expectations could be wrong about a movie: that it was not about a superhero saving people's lives, but instead about how he was affected by this way of being? If we do not recognize that such controversies come from our difficulty to grasp different (or deep) ways of thinking, than we will surely blame on the movie. Yes, it could have been longer, but it was in line with the purpose of leaving things unrevealed. I personally love that: to have the space to imagine and visualize what could be beyond. Maybe you should dare to do that and not expect the movie to do it for you. And if you are not willing, fine. Just, find another movie that satisfies that need of yours. There are plenty of them. This one is for people who like the duality and completion from opposites: humor-gravity, good-evil, surface-depth, male-female, and so on. I would love to see a sequel. But it would be fine without that too. Thanks.

In Albania, we are now watching the 70th part of the serial "La Madrastra" and although the movie is half away from the end, the major conflicts or themes seem to be largely unresolved. Of course, this is something that keeps everybody watching it on, but overall, I believe it is a very naive scenario. Nevertheless the casts are really good, and I find it understandable that in some cases the actors find it difficult to keep up with the weird flow of the story. Still, the major conflicts in the movie, such as the unknown mother, the unachieved love and the mysteries that each character holds, make the movie interesting. I am rarely interested in serials, but this one I find more as a drama. I think it is among the most interesting ones that I have ever seen and I encourage others to see it, also because it conveys some really good messages to the humans.
