Hackneyed but boring. Very predictable but I found the cursing unnecessary and uninspired. I love a classic rom com but this ain't it. Yes, Sydney Sweeney is beautiful and Glen Powell very handsome, but no chemistry and very forced story line. Could have been cute but the entire movies seems manufactured to show her (and others in cast) in physically compromising situations, script is uninspired, premise has been done before. Shocked because cast has a lot of talent in other films. Wow, an interracial lesbian couple- shocking! Feel like we've all seen elements of this movie done well before and this just doesn't cut it. Pass.
Was so excited to get a behind the scenes look into the team but this series felt largely like an Instagram reel of greatest hits. Could have spent more time with players in their everyday lives, the best parts were seeing snippets of Foden with his boys, Grealish with his dogs. Great seeing Pep at work in the locker room but they could have interviewed the chefs to talk about how they prepare the nutrition for the team. The series Arsenal did went more in depth and I really enjoyed that series. The scenes were just too short and felt very rushed even though there were plenty of episodes. Spend more time talking about Manchester Derby not just select clips of some outstanding game footage. This really could have been great but I didn't walk away getting any new perspectives on a historic season.
Poignant film, especially now with the usual geopolitical issues going on in Armenia. A quiet, charming movie. It's been a while since I've seen something like this. No super heros in sight! There's an underlying sense of longing and the observations from his window are very telling. Interesting way of storytelling and filmmaking. I think a lot of Armenians in the diaspora can relate but the film speaks to people who have curiosity of places they've never been, which seems completely counterintuitive but I think a lot of viewers can identify with the themes in this movie. While it's not available at the average neighborhood cineplex, it's worth seeking out.
