The_Hallow

This show was decent but not great or amazing. This show is very mediocre for one main reason and that is the weak imitation of Glee. This show felt very close to the Kurt Hummel story line in New York while he was interning for SJP at the fashion magazine.

The musical numbers felt too frequent and out of place and poorly done. R.A-S should stop trying to add musical numbers to all his shows he's no Ryan Murphy and Roberto shines more in dark themed shows like the first season of Riverdale and CAoS. Outside of performances the story was actually good and could have gained more of a following if he kept the performances to a minimum and focused that more for Josie and spread that out through the season instead of every episode.

I'm sad we wont get a second season where we would be getting some BIG drama with Hiram and Katy's father coming into the mix and the obvious setup of crossovers that could have come with Riverdale's 5 year jump.

The acting is terrible from most of the cast especially from the victims. Aside from the painful obvious cartoon-like CG blood, most of the victims who are being murdered have this half smirk/smile as they die or as they're dead. It takes away from the movie more than anything. The only good part from this is the boonies like Santa Claus. He at least acted well, but not Mrs Claus, she was like a porn hybrid of Mrs Claus and Suicide Squad's Harley Quinn and not in a good way.
