Lots of mediocre to bad reviews all round on this one.
Had no other expectations than to be entertained with an action movie in the likes of what Arnold, Sly, Bruce, Steven, Dolph and Jean-Claude made back in the day. And I wasn't disapointed.
Maybe it helped with having been both in Malta, Rome, London etc extensively, so will not discredit the «recognition» factor - but the movie holds it's own. Great shots from several of the cities. One can tell work has gone in to this bit.
The story is just there to push the action forward, and that is according to recipe for these kind of movies. Combat and fight scenes were above par - quite good and entertaining.
All in all - if you grew up with the afformentioned action heroes and want some easy going evening entertainment, you could do worse than catch this movie.

Especially enjoyed the winter season coming from an artic country myself.
But like others have mentioned, what was going on with Costner's narration?
I was under the impression that this show came about because of his interest in the park, but this definitely doesn't come across in his comments during the episodes. It is flat, uninspired and most of all sounds like a 6th grader reading his oligatory summer report in front of the class. No intonation, no excitement, no involvement in the action. Only when he's at the cabin table with his cup of coffee is there any semblance of interest in the history of the park. But still, the show is worth watching, as long as you have more of an interest in Yellowstone than Kevin apparently has.
