Part three of the Hostel series and it goes down a different alley. This is a true 'gang of friends all die except the hero' horror film and it is very average.
If you have nothing better to do and you like this genre then it will keep you interested. There are a couple of twists but nothing that hasn't been done before.
Honestly the best scene of the whole movie is probably the first scene with the presumed geek and the Ukrainian couple after that it goes down the road that you expect.
I gave it a 6, but its more a 5.5!!

When you hear that the film is about a dog and how it brings a community in the outback of Oz you really think i'd rather sit and watch the entire season 4 of Heroes. However almost from the start the movie grabs you and along with the camera work, the dialogue, the cast - the movie shines!!
It's a tremendous piece of filmaking and something for everyone. Be prepared to cry 'cos at moments it's very emotional.
A must see and the best dog movie since LAssie went home!
8/10

I have to admit i wasn't blown away by the film, but saying that it kept my attention from start to end and was watchable. Swank was excellent as the new resident of a seemingly cheap flat. She undoubtedly is a fantastic actress and she truly came alive in this film.
You pretty much know whats going to happen about 30 minutes in, as this kind of voyeuristic thriller has been done on countless occasions. But it bounces along at a rapid pace and without the audience getting bored.
Overall a good 7/10.
