Skillhouse fits the bill for an all around decent and entertaining watch - imagine influencers trapped within a mansion in LA Saw style with 50 Cent as the Jigsaw figure, it's as awesome and hilarious as it sounds.
Dialog and acting aside some nitpicking scenes of underwhelming responses is nothing to complain about. Kills, gore and progression isn't terrible nor a complaint either. The pacing is akin again, to saw, characters getting picked off, some suspense on who's next and thensome with some pretty successful comedy thrown in. Overall nothing entirely unique or groundbreaking, but works heavily with the content it aims to tackle - that being a dark, comedic whodunit with Saw tropes sprinkled about. Watch this film if you want something to laugh at, something to enjoy with some friends or something to bluntly enjoy; 50 Cent as a Jigsaw, despite his recent attempts to sue is worth watching. Post credit sequence and all.

This film really drags man. That's about the summary of this entire feature, it's a film tackling a very tired and cliche realm of horror, whilst also a film that's throwing some cultural patronage - which it doesn't fail at, however when it comes to most horror aspects, it falls flat. This film offers some little eye openers here and there, nothing spectacular, moreorless predictable circumstances you'll see from miles away. Some poorly timed jumpscares, bad audio and extremely predictable scenarios sprinkled among a plot that drags, this wasn't the worst thing I've ever seen, but if you're gonna take time to see it in theaters like I did, congratulations. You've got great patience. Some people will appreciate this film, but at the very least, it tried - it's extremely basic in every regard all in all.
This film is passable, if you've seen the trailer or know what this is even about, you'll be getting exactly what you were probably expecting - a bunch of purposely expressive characters you'd wanna see killed in true slasher fashion. This is a goofy, extremely self aware film that delivers on just that - if you're expecting anything serious or anything on the aspect of plot that isn't purposely cliche, then you're not watching the right film. Some complaints lie with the pacing, as well as how rushed the end began feeling and looking. Some kills could have gone farther with the hype of people being behind Terrifier, but worry not, this film delivers in its own special take on that; filming in some spots feels jarring and even blurry, some cheap spots. Some genuinely good moments of laughs and self aware dark humor, along with some really fleshed out and decent scenes. This is much better than some other films in this joke wave, however it's far from anything spectacular or good. Memorable? A good film to watch with friends and even catch in theaters for an experience? Yes. This film is serviceable at the very least, I'd recommend if you know exactly what you're walking into - which you should.
