The single worst part of this otherwise decent film is the narrator. She is a lazy speaker when it comes to pronouncing her words properly, dropping Ts in every other sentence. And Georgia is pronounced Jall-jah, America is Omerrikah. She is very irritating and takes little pride in her presentation.
The footage itself is okay and their are some insightful clips with chief characters. The story runs quite smoothly and progression is mapped neatly. But again, it becomes tiresome when you have to listen to someone who sounds like they dropped out of school early and never bothered to correct or improve their way of communicating verbally.

It's a run of the mill bill-payer for all concerned. Predictable garbage. Mick Ford the writer has done much better work, which wouldn't be hard in this case. The dialogue is old and the acting embarrassingly formulaic.
I can't believe the actors involved would go for this nonsense. It's just like so many similar themed series before it, but it has no redeeming qualities of itself. I'm struggling to find the necessary 600 words to complete this review.
Predictable, unchallenging, and an insult to the viewer. Like I said, it's earning money for them but in the most shameless way possible. Dreadful.

It's just a series of clips put together, like going on a YouTube spree yourself. I left underwhelmed and not a little disappointed. I don't know what I expected but I thought I'd be in for loads of rare footage. The first 15 minutes was virtually all film of the Spiders' final gig at Hammersmith. I suspected then that I might be all too familiar with the clips to come.
The sound of Bowie's talking voice was often muffled by the loud sound effects and music.
The one good thing about it was that there were no talking heads telling you how much they loved Bowie, like in the Sparks Brothers movie and George Michael's recent documentary Freedom.
An ordinary compilation of extraordinary clips.
