It makes me laugh and it's not predictable as hell, so it's looking good so far. I like it.
Okay so you read the premise for this show, and it sounds like a good idea. And you start watching and you think that maybe the characters are pretty weird and there's literally no one who's even the least bit likeable but alright, still a good premise so let's give it a shot. Before season 1 is even over it's turned into a lowkey YA story where the kids are of course the CHOSEN ONES and whatever. But you keep watching.
By the time you get to season 3 you've lost track of how many times people have switched from good to bad, you no longer know what the plot is and are they locked up? Can they leave? What's the point of all of this? Who the fuck knows. I stopped caring and won't finish it. What a sad trainwreck.
This is a great idea, I always wanted to read the book because it's a great storyline idea. I GENUINELY hope the book is better than the show. I'm reaching the end of season 1 and this has turned into a very predictable YA show. All the characters are flat like hell, make really stupid decisions just to fit the plot (instead of, you know, according to logic and common sense) and whoop de doo, all the important characters are children.
Really hope this'll get better, not super hopefully judging from the reviews...
