if you're looking for a decent horror movie with brad pitt, go for it, but if you're looking to get scared, look elsewhere. brian woods should not have been allowed back into school- why didn't they realize how psycho this guy is? martin mull- his whole role was just running around yelling, and at the end he just told brad pitt to screw himself. this movie should have been called 'we're stupid because we let a psycho killer who killed his father back into school where people will get killed'. brad pitt doesn't seem like the type of person who would have any desire to be a murder type character, but i can see him being someone who is aggressive and passionate about killing the killer. so a good acting job by mr. pitt, way to go.

this is a movie about revenge- man gets lit on fire-almost to death-, man gets out of hospital with one thing on his mind- kill anything that moves, and be sneaky about it! I know this movie was originally set to be a lot of bloodier, and that would of made it much better for all the horror fans out there. but seeing fisher stevens get killed- that's cool! I thought this movie would focus more on the prank- if i saw a skull with worms, or whatever it was that the kids used to scare Cropsy -the guy who played cropsy was really really ugly-, then i wouldn't have reacted quite like Cropsy did- but that's how the guy got burned! just imagine, if cropsy didn't get into the water as quickly as he did, he might of died and there would be no movie at all. jason Alexander- nice job man

this was one of the last original funny movies of our time, and if you have not seen it, go out and do it. the acting is spectacular, the jokes could not be any funnier, and this woman has this thing with calling her cat pussy that generates much laughter. if you like to watch MADTV and SNL, then you would like this one. the salem witch trials are not getting any funnier, so rent this movie at once!! you will find the sort of jokes you find in mel brooks movies, like "spaceballs" and "history of the world", but surprisingly Brooks had nothing to do with this flick. what's great is that modernness is brought into this film, with a sexy witch and women suspiciously performing a rap. the power of the witch generates laughter that only you the viewer can laugh at.
