This is short review to compliment HBO and everyone involved in the unique and wonderful show, which season 3 - the best one in my view - has now concluded.
The lavish and matriculate series continues in it's safe path to eclipse Downton Abbey and I dare say: it is actually better than DA in many ways.
It's much more fast pace and more dramatic in many ways than it's British counterpart, in typical American style.
Furthermore the period was much more eventful that people think. It is quite simply wonderfully produced and acted; a delight for eye and mind.
The 3rd season was the best so far. Every episode was packed with events and twists.
I truly hope this show will continue to at least 7th season (just like DA).
Don't miss it.

It started well, but it quickly veered of to your usual far-left propaganda. I was actually interested in the storyline itself, but suddenly it went all guns blazing into a typical Channel 4 News edition, i.e. Unabashed left to far-left hazy documentary. I was thoroughly disappointed because I love sci-fi and dystopian films.
I really question the purpose of this movie. The creator, Asif Kapadia, is well known (albite controversial) documentaries maker. What possessed him to create this film? Who is the target audience here? I was left puzzled.
I hope Mr. Kapadia will re-visit this feature and create a good movie without the C4 news archive reels. This film deserves better.

Hollywood is dying a slow and agonising death.
Let's hope we have seen the last of Francis Ford Coppola. He was better in the 70's and he should have stayed there.
This glorious train wrack has no beginning, no middle and no end. It was like watching a fancy costume ball without any cloths. All flaff, no substance.
But saying that does not mean the story could have presented more successfully in more experienced hands, such as James Cameron, for example.
At the end, we are treated on of the most boring, senseless features of all times.
Even the glorious cast can not save it. What a waste of some truly great actors.
Another nail in Hollywood coffin.
