Oh, my, my, my. This is one fine indie film. I don't know where to begin heaping praise on this outstanding effort. Maybe the best thing I can say to start is: I wish they had made many more films like this in the last six dismal years of cinema mediocrity.
This is a story about... an "Explorer From Another World!" -orld -orld -orld. I added the echoes because just typing the title doesn't do this film justice. Okay, so this is what happens...
A bad alien lands on Earth in small-town Americana circa 1955. Sure, it was a simpler time, but it was also a heavily armed shoot-first-and-ask-questions-never time. Between the beginning and the end, several innocent townsfolk lose various parts of their bodies while a handful of plucky teenagers and Professor Farnsworth save the world! -orld -orld -orld. (Again, me with the echoes.)
So, if you want some 1950 sci-fi camp, roll up your Levi's, don your bobby socks, and - oh golly-gee - just watch this fantastic movie!

"Heathers" meets "Lost Boys" meets "Harold" of "Harold and Maude". You're going to love this film!
What happens when a couple of misfit sisters with a penchant for staging eleaborate death scenes enter high school? That's right! They become the victim of bullies! Rather nasty ones, too.
Then what happens when one of those misfit young ladies gets bitten by a werewolf? 'Cause that's bound to happen from time to time. Again, you're right! Bloody mayhem of the pissed-off-female-kind abounds.
So, roast a were-dog, pop some corn, kick back and try to relax. When Ginger snaps, the entire town is going to hear about it.

S'okay, i'm still digesting this one, but something about this indie effort invites an early review (and it's not just the fact that mine would be this film's second such thing). BUT, I'm tossing out six stars and this review primarily because I know how difficult it is to do something excellent without millions of dollars and many people.
This is a classic grindhouse exploitation film (I don't know why this format isn't more common in independent film, it's powerful but forgiving of goofs). We have an angry woman with a gun (several, reallly) who is on a mission to right a few wrongs.
Here's why you should watch. The players can act. The writers can write. The photographers can photograph... stuff. And the rest ain't bad either.
Will you see a few gaps? I hope so! That's the joy of indie efforts!
I say, mosey on up, pardner, grab a mug and a chaw, and sit a spell. You'll want to know why "They Call Her Death" (when that's not really her name).
