I know this case really well and I have to say this is an amazing documentary. All be it a bit graphic as it shows Jon's dead body and bashed in skull (skin taken off for autopsy of head).

There is definitely some things that clash and make it msyterious still. We know the DNA cleared the brother and father. We also have to think since they chose to be part of this documentary, they may be innocent as who would want to bring it up and drawn attention if you got away for 30 years. And of course some of the things the people say like "We knew they were guilty because they didn't talk to us but went to the press", well duh, your not supposed to talk to the cops and hire a attorney when your being blamed.

That to many things still seem to point blame for possibly the family knowing who did it. The fact when the dad was told to check the house, he went RIGHT for the room the body was in, in the basement, says alot. What are the odds? It also gave him time to maybe remove some evidence perhaps. And there is the fact they were never really to emotional about it all. Granted some claim the mom was drugged up to deal with it.

Biggest thing is just a few years ago the brother was talked to and he more or less. He seemed uncaring about her death, often coming across as passive-aggressive and jealous of her. Not to mention when his parents were asleep he was the only other one downstairs near where she was killed.

Obviously we will never know the truth. But hopefully they confess before they die because they will regret what happens in the letx life (if you believe in such a thing).

As a reactor on Youtube, I have had to suffer through these SCU (Sony Cinematic Universe) movies. Madam Web, Morbious and even the not great Venomm 3. As such I didn't have much hope for this movie. Though the trailer gave me a VERY tiny bit of hope.

I have to say this movie was better then I thought it would be. It was nice to have a truly R rated SCU/Spiderman universe (based) character movie. Venom should have gone this route. I enjoyed seeing the Rhino look like... well a Rhino. As some of the other characters we got. I had fun with some of the movie. However it still has many issue. Issues that happen in every movie so far (more or less).

1. Weird CGI. When Kraven moves around he feels... off. His CGI makes him feel floaty at times. Some animals, like a lion, look really good. But then other animals look awful. And way to often in open environments you could tell they were with on a greenscreen set or maybe using that wraparound video tech (to imitate a background). Can't tell what it is, but it makes it look very fake.

2. For some reason there was ALOT of bad ADR. This is where they replace audio from a scene later on. Like redone lines for example. Sometimes you can tell they redid a line because the lips didn't sync up right. Or a character would be facing away from he camera, but not move their mouth, yet a line was spoken. In some cases the ADR lines were very low or to loud. It was really odd as ADR usually isn't so noticeable.

3. Alot of the scenes could have been cut shorter or removed. The movie is almost 2 hours exactly. It could have easily been chopped down to 1:30. Though oddly enough other times it felt like we were missing some scenes. The movie was not edited well and never flowed properly.

4. Calypso, the actress who plays her is wooden. Her lines felt unemotional and forced. Russel's lines sometimes felt really weird. In one odd scene we hear Rhino make some hissing/grunty sound for no real reason. I have ZERO idea why this was int he movie. Felt like a someone being funny between takes or something. Also, the chemistry of Rhino and Calypso is non-existent.

5. While I don't care to much about plot holes, I will mention them anyways. There is alot of issues. How can a certain person be hurt by animals, but not hurt by essentially a superheman person? When someone sees some people walking into their building from 20 stories up, how does said person know they are "not normal" and out to get them? How does one of the villains abilities work? How does on person recognize another person from almost two decades later? Do cameras not work in this world?

While I enjoyed the movie, I didn't love it. If I had to sum up, "Stuff happens for two hours," and then it's over. Which is ashame because it felt close to being a 7 instead of a 5 for me if some of the stuff was fixed. And since they were obviously setting up a second movie (maybe even with Spiderman?), its a lost cause now with the SCU officially dead according to Sony.

So long story short, I was never much of a Jerry Springer fan. I was in my late teens when it first aired and maybe caught as few episodes simply because I had the tv on when I was doing something else. But none the less seeing there was a documentary about it seemed interesting. Would we see if it was real? Maybe fake?

Well to start the documentary is very informative. I didn't realize how much was of it was actually real. Aside from people coming on and faking things for the fun of it. Granted we will never know how many people truly faked their stories. But then near the end of the first episode the talk about the murder that happened because fo the show. Which leads to the second episodes being about the murder and the fall of the show in general. And this is where the documentary falls apart.

For starters the son of the woman who was killed, and the lawyer he had and some other guy... they seemed obsessed with trying to tell the viewer how the show should have taken responsibility for the woman murder. There is no doubt the murder was horrible of course and needless. But said murder took place over three months later. Long after this episode was aired. And even in their own words the mom had broke up again with the boyfriend (she took back again). Which lead to him murdering her. Sure, they said he was at a bar the night of the murder and seen a rerun of the episode and it caused him to snap. Even if that was the case, the whole thing seemed like a desperate attempt to blame the show.

Again, the show was indeed trash. So I am not defending the show of course. But this son shouldn't have gotten any attention. And while I realize the point of it the story was to point out how the show affected people's lives after being on it, I'd say it's not a big deal. Many people go on shows. Is every show responsible for what someone does because they were on a tv talk show?

Especially JS which was a trash show in which no one was forced to go on it. People knew what they signed up for. And yes, the people were often riled up by the shows people so they go out on stage all mad. And I can agree that is terrible (all be it good for ratings). But its not illegal. And again, in the case of the murdered woman, this was months later.

I also didn't care when the one guy who worked on the show blamed viewers for the show existing. I get viewers made the show continue. But YOU were part of it my man. I'm happy you quit of course as it was burning you out. But you could have stopped anytime. You could have also done more to stop the show if you really wanted. It took you over a decade to finally realize it was a bad show. You said yourself it wasn't scripted, you guys instead just knew how to "get into peoples heads and make them angry" before they went on stage. You were part of that manipulation. It's like being part of a concentration camp for years then saying "Hmm, this may be bad!"

And to be fair the documentary made it clear that Richard Dominick, the director, was the main push for the show being trash. Which to some degree shows what a twisted mind he has as he had no disgust by any of it. As always, again, no one was forced to go on of course. Though once there they were yelled at if they wanted to not finish taping. Never forced to stay though.

So like I said, a good documentary to see what went on in the background. A bad documentary for all the people upset in it.
