I'm obviously one of only a few, but I really enjoyed this movie BECAUSE it's different from the other Marvel movies. I loved the storyline and the female friendships and teamwork. I loved the singing and cats (and Cats). I thought the fight scene at the beginning of the movie was one of the most fun fight scenes I've seen in a while. I think the package deal of Kamala Kahn and her family is a great, funny addition to the MCU. Amen to the South Asian representation!
I'll admit, my movie opinions always seem to be different than others'....for instance I much preferred Wonder Woman 1984, which others seemed to dislike, compared to the first WW. I do tend to prefer the wacky over the ordinary, and this movie was a little wacky.
Anyway, yes, this movie is a little chaotic and crazy, but that's what made it engaging for me.
To answer another reviewer's question about who this movie appeals to - nope, not just teen girls. Grown adults liked this movie as well.

While I find the show entertaining overall, I think some aspects of the show fall flat.
First, the pranks rarely seem to reach an apex and you're always left feeling like there wasn't quite enough done to prank the "victim". However, there have been several very funny pranks, notably the clown mom prank and and the wedding prank.
Sometimes it seems like they spend too long interviewing candidates and then not end up using their ideas, so it feels like a waste of time in terms of the episode. It seems that the point of interviewing the prankster candidates is purely for pointing out that the prank ideas are dumb. *Sometimes* it's funny, but it usually seems like it's just to fill time.
Unfortunately, the biggest issue with the show is Gabourey Sidibe. She doesn't have great chemistry with Eric Andre or Johnny Knoxville, and seems to enjoy being condescending to the guests. S1 E6 was especially bad, being at times unfunny and offensive, and I'm honestly not sure why they aired it. She was so unapologetically rude to the two friends for such a small reason, and spent the entire episode griping about it and actively trying to insult them. It was uncomfortable viewing for a prank show. I have never watched this actress in anything else, even Precious, and I know very little about her, but she seems to have a chip on her shoulder that carries into this show so unnecessarily.
If it gets renewed for a 2nd season, I think it would be much improved by finding an alternate third host or just using Eric & Johnny.

NBC has always produced some of my favorite comedies; Community, The Office, 30 Rock, Parks & Rec, just to name a few. Mrs. Davis follows in this tradition in that it has a quirky and ridiculous sense of humor with an engaging storyline that has me excited for the rest of the season.
In addition to the humor, the action is fun and keeps your attention and the actors seem to have dived into their characters and play them well.
I like quirky shows, and this fits the bill, but if you know you don't enjoy ridiculous premises and random humor, this show might not be for you.
This show has a similar overarching plot to that of "Artificial Intelligence" with Melissa McCarthy that came out a few years back, but overall is very different with its subplots.
