The movie is a funn movie to see but there's nothing new about it except the cast which are great.

There are a few Blue Lagoon homage to it as well (getting lost in an island, making fire, naked swimming) and didn't Benjamin Bratt,s ex Julia Roberts did a movie similar with George Clooney?

It's something to watch if there's nothing else to see or you are done being stressed out with Baby Reindeer.

Filming location says London (IMDb) but I doubt this is not a studio set.

There seems to be less scenes or interaction with the locals where they talk. Most of the Thai characters don't engage in conversations and the ones that did are Australian or Indian.

This is probably one of the best Filipino movies I've seen in decades. From acting, to the story, the production value, and overall presentation I totally salute the director for crafting this film.

Unfortunately, when I saw it on HBO Max, it was badly dubbed. The alternate audio comes with description for hearing impaired. I think the original audio give more impact to the actor's performance.

Perhaps I'll wait for the Blu-ray release and rewatch it. I highly recommend this film.

He's comparable. Hilarious! I just wish he elaborates more on some of the punchlines...
