"A man said to the universe, sir, I exist" With only two episodes left to go it seemed strange to make one of them set before the events of the series, but The Garveys at Their Best did not disappoint at all. The trend of TV shows to do sub par flashbacks at the end of the season for budget issues is blown out of the water in the one of the greatest moments of television this year. The episode is set mere days before the rapture and we see the events leading up to this shocking event. Everything in this episode is well thought out, all the characters are more relaxed happy people than we are use to seeing in this show and it's not until the final 5 gripping minutes that we see what turned them into a darker self. We all knew from the beginning of this episode what was coming but that didn't detract from the spine chilling episode which was achieved through the use of stunning acting and soundtrack that left everyone at the edge of their seats wondering when the disappearance was going to take place. The highlight of this episode also was the great moment in which Garvey is sitting having his cigarette when a car full of woman approaches him and asks him the chilling "Are you ready?" which in the context of this episode felt like something straight out of twin peaks. Hopefully the final episode can set up what is sure to be a great second season.

This is definitely the episode of the series that made me think this show is something more than just an average drama. So far all the complaints of "it's going to be like lost" and that there will be no answer to the mystery have been at the back of my mind. This episode shows me that those things do not matter, what does is the amazing character development and plot of this post rapture community. The show has so much potential and as each episode goes on(even the individually centred ones)it has shown layers of complexity in each character even minor guilty remnants. This episode offers a minor explanation for who the guilty remnant are but still leaves much of their background in question, leaving the viewer to question just what drives them to be so "evil". With two more episodes to go I can only hope the rating goes up for this unappreciated HBO masterpiece as the season hopefully comes to an climatic end.

The impressive new south Korean series "Three days" consists of 16 intense episodes. Set within the world of secret service the series covers the disappearance of the president from his villa and the people trying to locate him.

The series is very notable for its great cinematography and production values. This new drama does come of as a bit melodramatic which it is clearly trying it's hardest not to be. The action is good and the series takes itself seriously which is an unusual thing for Korean dramas. The acting is at the height of what makes this series so impressive with the lead Yoo-chun Park not coming of as a stereotypical action hero, instead as a complex secret service agent looking for the truth. With only a few episodes left I am excited to see how they will wrap up this 24 style series.
