I went in knowing some of the comedians weren't my cup of tea... but boy was I wrong!
The first two episodes were a bit of a drag to get into- as they were trying to get to grips with the gameplay. However, from episode three onwards I was really enjoying myself. I decided to join in on the challenge and that was one of the reasons why I enjoyed it so much. Trying not to laugh at the simple, yet stupid- and somewhat childish- jokes they came out with is why this show was so funny.
I have always loved Joe Wilkinson and Richard Ayoade and they did not disappoint with their comedy, as well as the other comedians in this series.
It blended slapstick, improv, observational, absurdist, all the way to good old fashioned knock knock jokes. A good watch if you want to just enjoy comedians trying to rack their brains to get someone to laugh.
The joker challenges were amazing alongside the special guests they brought in... a really fun Friday night watch.

Those who cling onto the desperation of a good video-game-to-screen adaptation need to lower their standards. No film or tv show will encapsulate the essence of the game... and that's ok!
This show gives you good gore, a decent storyline and pays homage to the original games but also being totally unique in its own way. There are some parts where I was a little unsure but overall I really enjoyed this tv show!
I would rate it a 7 but I'm trying to equal out the score so that it isn't cancelled; I enjoy the direction this tv show is going!
