Fear X intrigued me when I first saw it in the video store. I don't know what it was that caught my eye. It certainly wasn't the incredibly cheesy title. It was probably because John Turturro was in it, but after this film I will probably never see another one of his movies.
The film centers around a man who's wife was killed in what seemed like an accident, but visions tell him that it was murder. The problem with this film is that you can't tell what is going on from one scene to the next. Very few of his visions relate to his wife, most of them seem like random trips, and the clues he picks up don't connect.
Not to mention that this film is just flat out boring. I don't mind films with slow plot lines, but this movie is the cinematic equivalent to Valium. I found myself falling asleep during this move, and it was the middle of the day. I had also gotten a good nights rest before, and I hadn't been very active that day either.
The cast gave good performances, but their talents were wasted on such a horrible, and insignificant film. Avoid it at all costs.

Disney might be falling down on the job of making family films that actually interest the whole family, but every so often they manage to make one that shines. "The Parent Trap" is one of those films.
In this remake of the 1961 classic, 2 twins Hallie and Annie (Lindsay Lohan), were separated at birth, when their parents divorced. They are reunited, by chance, at summer camp. The two of them quickly hatch a plan to reunite their parents by switching places. The problem is their father has met someone.
Hilarity ensues through the film as these two charming girls make mischief. The cast delivers an amazing performance. Lindsay Lohan does an excellent job in her debut role.
No film, however, goes without its flaws. This film had very little of those. The only people who would notice them are fans of the older film. The problem is, when you break it down, the film is a modernized version of the 1961 film, with a new cast. The film doesn't introduce a lot of new plot turns. There is a tidbit here, and there, that is different from the original. But all it truly is, is an updated version.
Still young Lohans charm, Dennis quads superb acting, and the talents of the rest of the cast earn this film ti's A+.

This was such a great show. Back when i was a kid it was one of my favorites. Nickeloden gave quality programming back then, and this was one of the greatest. Back when i was a little first grader, i couldn't wait to see what Doug would get into next, and even reruns held the same funny sorta feel to it. They were a;ways funny no matter how many times i watched them.
I Really Miss this one and wish nick would put it back on or make a DVD or something. It would just be not right. It still lives on in all our hearts though, i am sure of it. This show holds so many memories for me and i am out of ways to stretch this comment out into 10 lines.
