I can't really comment on the 1994 Fantastic Four film because I didn't see it, but I did see the 2005 film and it's 2007 sequel, and liked them for what they were worth, and the 2015 film and no more to be said there.
I admire the way that it doesn't take place in the same universe as The Avengers, trying to be its own film, and it really stands on its own. Pedro Pascal really shines has Reed Richards-Mister Fantastic, showing that he is not only a superhero, but a very smart guy, always trying to balance things out. Vannesa Kirby is great has Sue Storm-Invisible Woman, also trying to balance superhero life and motherhood. And Joesph Quinn is awesome has Johnny Storm-The Human Torch, never goes over the top with goofiness the way Chris Evans did, and Ebon Moss - Bachrach is also awesome as Ben Grimm-The Thing, showing him making peace with what he has become.
Very well directed by Matt Shakman (WandaVision), showing it's not impossible to direct a good Fantastic Four film. Everybody really clicks with each other on film, and the effects are beyond great.

Set in 2020 when covid hits the community and everybody has to wear face masks, but the town sheriff (Joaquin Phoenix) is trying to downplay it, buy running for mayor, against the town's current mayor (Pedro Pascal).
A very good story, were nothing is what it appears to be, has you on the edge of your seat on how it's going to play out. Joaquin Phoenix really delivers a good performance; at times you sympathize with him and other times you don't. The setting really gives a western like feel too it. Other guest stars do well also like Emma Stone, Austin Butler, and Pedro Pascal. It was good, but I don't think I could sit through it again.
