I can't understand the number of 1-star reviews that people are leaving here. I can only assume these morons haven't been to the theater in the past 25 years OR they have been victims of head injuries that have affected their brain. These people must have relatives in competing movie studios and are only trying to bring down the rating to benefit their second-cousin's first movie out of film school. To Anyone giving this a ONE STAR I give a few alternate suggestions: Howard the Duck, Costner's Robin Hood, Showgirls, Travolta's Battlefield Earth, Ishtar, Cosby's Leonard Pt. 6, Mac and Me, Glitter, Gigli, and Lindsay Lohan in I Know Who Killed Me. Truly, I probably wouldn't give any of even these horrible movies only a ONE as people have gotten at least a 2 or 3's worth of enjoyment poking fun, parodying or marveling at how bad they are over a glass of wine with an equally inebriated friend.

If you were able to sit through the entire movie, say "whoa" at a stunt driver's prowess at any point or be surprised at the CGI effects of the after-blast of a grenade in mouth death then you can't in any way give this movie a ONE.

Stop taking out your Bad Day on a movie that, while it will never get an Oscar nom, at least gave a couple hours of escapist entertainment value. Be FAIR in your review scores as collectively they do add up and can unfairly skew a rating. It was a fun and entertaining movie. Only a Blank Screen deserves a 1-star rating as it indicates that no care was given, performances were phoned in and it was grossly miscast. None of these apply. It's OK not to like Michael Bay but the actors do read reviews and these reviews are just outright Wrong!

I think people are sooo jaded with their snarky reviews. Complaining about it being "typical Michael Bay" is like saying Meryl Streep is only about accents or Peter Jackson is only good in Middle Earth. The truth is that these guys are EXCELLENT move makers. Let them do what they excel at doing.

I thoroughly enjoyed the action, special effects, relationships and yes, CGI. Particularly liked the old throwback TV/movie/music references and laughed out loud at the Aviation Gin. For the complainers, exactly how much "substance" can you get in a 2 hour movie? I liked this movie far more than I was prepared to and I truly hope this is made into a series of films with the overthrow of endless bad guys. Stop thinking you all are armchair Siskel & Eberts and just enjoy the ride.

Aside from the other 2 continuity "goofs," it was thoroughly annoying to see in the final FAST car race to "wake up Bobby" up in the mountain cabin that for more than a full minute during the fast-paced drive that the scenery outside Agent Audrey's window stayed at a standstill on the same White Birch branches/twigs. Totally takes you out of the moment as it framed the entire scene around her head out the passenger window. And it KEPT happening with the same stupid branch scene tho it switched back and forth multiple times and drove multiple miles.

Seeing this so early on in a series makes me want to quit the binge-watch I had planned for a Stephen King story. Pretty disappointed for whomever was the unprofessional person in charge of cinematography continuity. I'll give it one more episode I guess but since I wasn't watching this to find errors, I'm afraid that my mind is just going to be looking for such crass mistakes...
