Greetings from Lithuania.
4th episode on " Penguin" was its best yet. It showed us a tragic and brutal past of Sofia. This episode is basically a big flashback, plot nor details of which i wont spoil. Needless to say i highly enjoyed this episode and it is a must see if you have watched previous ones as well so far.

"The Gorge" (2025) is an entertaining science fiction, romance action flick. It has very cool concept, good production design, two highly likable leads and plot that is as dumb as it's involving. As a one from Lithuania i was very pleased to see Anya Taylor-Joy character to be a Lithuanian and hear my native language to be spoken and a big Hollywood movie (even if its a TV movie). But let's get one thing out of the way - there was never ever in a history of Lithuania a woman named Drasa. In English Drasa imeans Courage. How many woman are named Courage..? Exactly! That said, this film is entertaining as a one evening watch - found it on Apple TV and was mildly entertaining by it. The concept is cool and unique here, but its believability is zero to none - it's one of those films you do not think about logic. Seeing Sigourney Weaver on screen ever for short was and always will be a pleasure as i'm mega Aliens fan.
Overall, The Gorge is a fun and mildly entertaining nonsense. The chemistry between two leads is great and it carries this flick together with cool concept. Just don't take it seriously.

First two episodes of "Penguin" got me intrigued. First thing the plot here is involving and it's this down to earth mob thriller. It's nothing really that original but it works. Performance by Colin Farrell is amazing, but same has to be said about make up - it really is here a milestone. You can't recognize the actor any longer and only see a character, and yet the prosthetics are so great that they let actor to perform and you can see the emotions still on his face. This is truly one of the most jaw dropping transformations I've ever seen.
Overall, "Penguin" plays differently than the "Batman". It's more "Sopranos" and it works so far.
