So.... this is indeed, very. Very bad. The acting, of some of the actors, some of the time, is somewhat not bad. But that is the only slightly not atrocious thing about this. The CGI is of a 1980s level, but in the worst way. The story is completely unoriginal, the acting is atrocious, especially from the lead, some supporting cast, the 2 women in in the beginning, the villianes, they're kinda okay. The other good thing about it is that its only 80 minutes.
In a case of pure Nomen est Omen, it is made by a guy named .... BLAND??? Actually "bland" still way too generous a description, it's far too generous and average. The real mystery is Who did Bland .... off to get to San Diego? Is he some type of nepo baby? I'd research it, but then, waste of time ~2 oth 10

This is a well made music video, with top... let's say GOOD marks for production value, sound, cinematography, all that basic stuff. It looks expensive, and the location is excellent.
There's an obvious, in-your-face wink to the Sound of Music: That there are also 7 child actors, also 2 boys and 5 girls, who are dressed in Austrian styled clothes, vaguely reminiscent of Lederhosen, but made out of sturdy denim, those clues kind of give that away. Then there's an oldest "girl", just like in the original movie. The youngest is now-actress Madeleine McGraw (Mads for close friends) who does a good job of delivering the last line, seemingly bored senseless. Or, upon review, it might be her sister Violet McGraw who here is still cute, but judging by her IMDb photo, didn't age well. She looks more and more like her father each day. It must be a burden. However, she does do a great job of knee-sitting, have to say.
One of the two boys, hard to say which, but probably the insane dancer, is active on Instagram, but his Insta girlfriends are way more interesting. The other boy is not in an acting capacity anymore. The only dissonant is the oldest Von Trapp girl, Von Tr*** more likely. Yes, the original Liesl also was the only one with a romantic interest, and this one is too, played by a > 25+ year old woman, but somehow, her intended sexiness descended into something like sluttiness. I blame the director. Or casting. Poor girl couldn't do anything about that. She also can't act, but that's not really the point. Oh .... well.
Overall, good clip, creative story line, it's a notch better than all those dime a dozen rap vids with all the "honey's by the pool", and there's some actual (but minimal) acting going on too.
Also, the song is not bad.
