The real crime here is that Warner Brothers appears to have turned its back on one of their best directors by failing to promote this film and not widely distributing.
It is a privilege to view Mr. Eastwood' films and this is no different and sadly may be his last.
It's an interesting story with conflicts and morality questions spread across an excellent cast. It deserves to be seen and enjoyed. Despite the complications and legal maneuvering the film flows smoothly and remains engrossing. I feel it places the viewer in a number of character positions and allows for self reflection. Justice has long been an Eastwood subject and he does not disappoint.

Great cast, production design, lighting and wardrobe. Interesting insight into the process and the human factors and personalities that percolate to the surface in what many might believe is a sterile event. The end of the story falls off the deep end and is disappointing. If makes all the effort put forth in the rest of the film seem cheap and a slap in the face and ends too abruptly. I felt disappointed and taken advantage of for watching what 90% of is a really good film. It is surprising how tense and emotional it is in many sections. The speech that Ralph Finnes makes to the Cardinals was classic.
I've seen parts 1 and 2 and applauded this take on a new horror character to stand up with Freddy Kruger. The dark humor and crazy creative kills continue in part 3, but at times I felt that Art was mimicking himself and was too self aware and appreciative, rather than organically funny. (Like in the sun glasses scene in part 2).
The female companion to Art was interesting but I grew tired of her and she seemed to interfere with Art at times.
The special effects gore is off the chart and surprisingly realistic. I see part 3 as a worthy effort to explore some other avenues, but risks sending the overall concept on a detour that could easily end the series. I enjoyed parts 1 and 2 more. The last scene which lays some foundation for #4 looks like a good start. The producers have a goose that has laid some golden eggs, they need to be careful not to kill it.
