This movie had everything it needed to be a good movie except a story. It is like they came up with a basic concept for the movie and just ran with it. At no point in time do they ever take the time to elaborate or explain anything. Mistakes and Continuity issues are blatant. There is little to no character development. The movies pace is slow, which would not be a problem if there was a good story to back it up. The electronic movie score worked well for the movie " Dead Man " , but it does not do anything to lend itself to " The Last Son ". Despite everything said, this movie is not painful to watch, unlike some other productions. So feel free to give a watch.
This is a worthless movie. The 'story' is so feeble that you can't even consider the plot half baked. The only redeeming thing about the movie is Branscombe Richmonds performance. One gets the impression that the writer was watching Easy Rider and thought himself...'I can do that'. I knew this movie was going to be a real stinker.... but got it anyway. That is two dollars I will never get back. There a few major holes in the so called story....1) the girl hitch hiker simply vanishes in the middle the night in the desert, 2) they rebuild and modify a vintage motorcycle to show bike quality in three days, 3)they never show how they defeated the two hoods that were chasing them, 4)there is no real ending to the movie, 5) the main character is acting in a movie at the end, this makes no sense and does not even remotely fit into the plot in anyway. Whats even worse about this movie is that I took the time to write this review.
Pathetic is the word. Bad acting, pathetic script, cheezy dialog and hip hop music & fashion...what the hell was up with that? The directer of this movie acts as bad as the movie he made. If someone would have taken some time and effort to rework the whole thing, it may of had a chance. Bet the studios are still trying figure out how they could screw up up so badly.
The absolute best thing about this movie was Stacey Dash...the Asian chick wasn't too bad neither. These too gals carried the whole movie. If it weren't for them I would have destroyed my copy of this movie.
If any of those who have not seen this yet and had a notion to, don't waste your time...you'll only regret it later.
