This whole show was like someone asked a AI program to write something that appeals to both Yellowstone and Outer Banks fans and it succeeded.

Butter faced 20 something's playing teens? Check. Plot holes to the extent that you could drain an Olive Garden Mother's Day weekend's worth of boil in bag "fresh" pasta. Got that. But in the end all this series did was rob me of 10+ hours of my life that I will never get back and everyone involved should be prosecuted for second degree manslaughter for truly killing hours of everyone lives that were subjected to this sad excuse for entertainment. Puke emoji.

The worst thing about this movie was the editing... Maybe someday we will get a director's cut that doesn't look intentionally sabotaged by the editor... The acting and script in my opinion were not that bad. Good special effects and a good but nowhere near as great as the original's soundtrack.

I'm glad they changed up some of the lore and didn't make this a shot by shot remake because you can't improve on a classic film. I'm sad that they didn't give it a longer theater exclusive run of time to see if word of mouth might have brought more people and money to the theaters.

Overall it's definitely not the worst film I've seen this year but far from the best...

The first hour points out all of their wrong doings and the third act tries to tell you they learned their lesson and to please buy their stuff again. No thanks!
