Chris Evans has had a long career by now, this underwhelming movie reminded me of the movie London, featuring Jason Statham with hair and Jessica Biel as a goddess of beauty walking the earth. And relationship drama.

Now, this movie is lukewarm. Dakota Johnson can act, in a lukewarm way. Her range is from room temperature to tepid. She's pretty, and also incredibly transparent.

It's competently done throughout, but also instantly forgettable. It's not a comedy but the drama doesn't hit either. There's a lack of talent in the writing, depth is missing. The male characters especially are high level archetypes rather than people. Pedro Pascal s character is like a non playing character in a video game. Hollow script. Like a macaron with too much air in it.

Movies used to be better, and this one isn't even bad. I think we deserve better stories and actresses with more range.

Surprisingly long movie for a slap stick comedy. Everything about it was awful.

The script is shocking. The required levels of incompetence and Deus ex machina for the story to unfold are off the charts.

The action scenes even manage to be boring, it's spectacular.

The dialogues are terrible. It's a comedy that doesn't take itself seriously, but also it's trying hard to be serious. The result is awful.

The villain is Russian, yet they chose a theater British actor, so he's as credible as if my grandmother were to fight John Wick.

This makes Michael bay movies feel like scorcese classics...
