I didn't know what to expect going into "Puncture," but what I found, surpassed even my most hopeful wishes for an evening at the movies. "Puncture" is a perfectly acted true-life story that still has me thinking about its message 3 days later. It was gripping from the opening credits and I was emotionally pulled in a number of directions. Chris Evans proved he can really act, not just dress up as a superhero and run around a big budgeted set. Mark Kassen was marvelous alongside him as his legal partner and the Houston backdrop made for an unlikely protagonist in and of itself. A story that needed to be shared and with tremendous talent. I only wish there were more films like "Puncture." I encourage people to go see the film.
It was amazing to watch Henry journey through Israel and talk with the local people there. It was truly an inspiring documentary and certainly important as well. The imagery was beautiful and the rhythm of the piece wonderfully gelled the stage performance of Henry and his journey throughout the country. I laughed and had tearful eyes. Perfect.
This doc ran on IFC several times.
I hope Henry goes to another country as well that really could use some clarification to an American audience. Perhaps the Darfur region or the poverty of South America.
I'd follow him anywhere.

Bill Maher and Henry Rollins have similar talk shows, but Henry seems to bring up new and important topics while Bill sort of runs over the same news that everybody else is talking about. Don't get me wrong, Bill Maher is hilarious, but Henry has better guests and live music on his show which kicks butt. Bill was a guest on Henry's show and it was cool to see them talk. Bill's show is on HBO and Henry's show is on IFC.
The Henry Rollins Show and Real Time are still really good television. We need to have more conversations in the news right now like they have on their shows. CNN seems to be this big commercial hub now and Anderson Cooper is a gimmick and a bad one.
