Recently I could update my internet-speed, I just had to 'put off and on' my modem. This was the reason to get the IT-crowd DVD's and start rererewatching this show.
My goodness, I was not disappointed. How fresh, how amiable, how spot on the dialogues! IT people tend to be a little non-communicative, but these people were not. They communicated to me that, even in this stupid moronic Trumpian world, humor can survive. I laughed about and with Moss, and I noticed (sorry my better half) that I am even more in love with Katherine Parkinson than a decade ago. If you're kind of depressed, go see this show. You will, I guarantee, be cured! At last: I think I will dust of my old ZX81. Or was it my Spectrum? Who cares. This show will go on forever and ever. Thanks guys and girl, you saved my life.

Felt a little down, and stumbled upon 'The good place' again. Begun watching and got up. This is so uplifting! Even Ted Danson, who I don't like in Cheers, is incredibly. And Kirsten, what a gal! When I was a psychiatrist (but I rather do honest work...) I would prescribe this to anyone feeling a little low. Already in the first episode I was totally immersed. Ok. And besides the actors are the very special effects, and the philosophy. It's hard to explain, as I am not a philosopher (I am a lot not...) but boy, you are forced to think in a certain way, and this series is better than a big philosophy book. What also attracts me is the humor. The actors, pay attention to their faces! And Florence Nightinggale is in the Bad Place, as is Mozart and all the presidents of the US except Lincoln. I guess Trump wil picture himself in the Very very good place...
All in all, the most highly recommended. Afterburner: Kirsten is also wonderfull in The woman across the street in the window or what's it called. I'm almost in love with her.
My goodness. I thought I saw it all. All the zombies, horror and so on. But this one takes the cake. Why? I really don't know. I suspect I fell in love with Live. Why? I again really don't know. She has a kind of humor I like. She reminds me of a colleague of mine. She reminds me of a girl I knew when I was younger, a lot. But let's cut the crap and tell you why you have to watch this. It's uplifting. The scenery and surroundings are lovely. Norway, been there, want to go back now. Live can act, my, what an actress! But the other characters are also lovely in their own way. Recently I bought a 'relax-chair'. Now my idea of heaven is sitting in this chair and watching 'No one dies in Skarnes'. So please, more series, my stay in heaven must be a lot longer, please! Live and let die. Something like that. When this review doesn't look much like English language, sorry, but I'm Dutch. Live, je bent het einde! And this is the end also.
