For me, This movie is Unity !!!
Sheer brilliance ... Art !!!
Maybe because i love science fiction or that its easy for me to imagine the possibility...
I just got the movie and hadn't seen any trailer nor read much about the film except maybe a few lines here on IMDb.
Starts off just like any other movie ... but then ... its really very difficult to fathom my experience into words !! It goes beyond ...and then starts expanding exponentially as far as the theory goes.
I just finished watching it and i feel infinitely intelligent and still reeling back from the experience !!! Truly a spectacular movie and experience...
All you have to do is suspend your disbelief and just find that maybe .... its possible :)
P.S - The END is just "mind blowing"!!!

No, i have not read the book and didn't know much about the plot before watching the movie.. But i can understand the negative views of people who did read the book and expected more from the movie ... as we all do with stories we read.
But .. for me Andrew Niccol just made a refreshing and unique story that made me think about it .. I feel disappointed after reading many negative reviews here, and only reason being that they could not enjoy it as well as me.
The movie starts with a great narrative and gets to its main story right away. The movie never pretends to be action packed. It has a great pace and a good blend of drama/romance with action (in my opinion). The Idea behind the plot i.e the science fiction part of the movie ( also applies to anything that Andrew Niccol works on ... example- Gattaca , In Time Etc) is marvelous..
Saoirse Ronan surprises me every time with her acting and as the movie goes, I cannot understand the references to hunger games or Twilight ... Its just stupid ..Nothing reminded me much of Hunger Games....there was NO love triangle Either ... there were two people (souls/minds) in a single body.
In the end .. I wanna share that I really liked the movie and the romance, Sci-Fi and action were in a great blend for me. If you want to watch extremely fast paced,Sci-Fi action ... this is not for you (maybe at this particular time).. Any science fiction fan (anyone really) who doesn't mind the romance in their story and enjoys a decently paced, story and plot driven movie should thoroughly enjoy this as i have.
A "definitely WATCH" from me ...
P.S- I do Believe the movie could have done without the extremely last scene that comes after the movie has basically ended.

This is a crime comedy which really delivers the comedy.Small scenes acted out perfectly and the movie had a bright feel to it which made it more interesting to watch.
Casting was nice.The actors really fit to the roles they were given and the mystery remains a mystery till the very end.Again, the humor in this movie was really good.There was all kinds of comedy based on situations that fit the style perfectly.
Very often you see a movie with such good understanding of the Characters. The plot is very simple and movie seems a bit predictable in the beginning BUT of-course its not.The story is very original and Patrick Dempsey's character "Tripp Kennedy" is which i liked the most.He's interesting,really.
So, its a bank robbery with two robbery-teams that plan to rob the same bank at the same time (this is funny already).There's a little feel of black comedy and also a bit of "Stupid-eh-ism" which really is fun.
Its a movie you can just watch (with the more the merrier) for a lot of laughs and a few great laughs and have a great time and also relax all in all.
I rate it 7.7/10
