Simply the best documentary I've seen this year. Heartbreaking look at the tragedy of 9/11 through the eyes of a retired NYFD Fireman. Incredible footage and insight into the event. Wish that he would do a sequel to follow up on some of the survivors. Just when you think you know what the experience of 9/11 was like here this film comes along with the perspective of the firemen from many different houses. This film really should be playing on television. I highly recommend it.
Thoroughly enjoyed watching this film. It is a modern tragedy in a very realistic sense. Wherever the film was shot was gorgeous. I'll assume Canada. Most of the acting is very sharp. A real movie about real people what a surprise.
Absolutely one of my favorite films of all time. Not enough real movies like this. Tells an important tale of family, love and loss. Sean Penn is a national treasure as both an actor and filmmaker. David Morse and Viggo Mortensen give their best performances of their careers. Charles Bronson is such a surprise as the father.
