This movie is way better than is given credit.

The score is fantastic, the music adds so much emotion. The story makes sense. The backstory from Krypton is great. Superman is stoic & powerful as he is supposed to be. Sure, it's not perfect. A lot of people have a problem with Superman killing Zod, however he does so in the comics. The point is he protects the defenceless, the point was that you have to make the hardest of choices for the greater good & to save people. The world isn't all sunshine and rainbows and sometimes you have to make tough decisions. Its reality. It makes sense. Henry Cavill is fantastic, he commands the respect as Superman and knows what the character is about.

I wanted to love this movie. However it is very weak and doesn't hit the right notes. The music score in this is below average, it doesn't make you feel or create any swell of emotion. The best part of the movie was the relationship between Clark & Lois and yet there's so many other sub plots that aren't needed. Superman feels like Superboy or just Clark Kent in a suit. He is portrayed as a wuss. Lex Luthers character made little sense, He acts like a big petulant baby the whole time yelling out combos and will rip apart the fabric of the world for what? Ultraman is just a weak version of Zod.
