I look movies where every scene feels like it matters. They used the space super well and kept it tense the whole way through - despite the one location.
The writing was clever, and I liked how it played with tech without going on the nose.
The acting was honestly great, and the way it was shot looked amazing. Sound, lighting, everything just worked. Also loved that it started off kind of like a rom-com, then slowly shifted into this psychological thriller - but didn't fully abandon the original vibe either. That genre mix kept it interesting.
There was some confusing plotting, but overall, I thought it was a super solid thriller!

I'd say it surprised me...but I knew the moment I watched the trailer that it'd go hard. Great music and the Prohibition-era vibes flipping into vampire horror halfway through just hits.
The club scenes are unreal - full of life, music, tension. The movie is just HOT - it's got a steady, sexy energy under everything.
Loved the editing, the camerawork, and Michael B. Jordan is magnetic. The horror moments sell so well (I wasn't sure how those would turn out - but man did they hit).
Just excellent filmmaking all around. Only wish the final scenes were a bit longer. Still, easily one of the best horror films I've seen in a while. Definitely rewatching.

This one's a slow crawl into something really weird. At first I was like... is this grief drama? A ghost story? Serial killer? No idea. But it definitely hooked me.
Not a lot of jump scares or action - it's mainly mood. Creepy silence, an off uncanny vibe, and a kind of tension that never fully lets up... I enjoyed the last 10 minutes - goes full chaos and it works really well.
PFX and creature design were absolutely fantastic as well.
Surprisingly good comedy in a few spots too. I wish they leaned into that side a bit more - those moments were very strong.
Overall, enjoyed it a lot. If you don't mind slower pacing and like a creepy monster, I'd check it out.
