In true Disney fashion, no expense was spared in bringing the Grimm Brothers' classic tale to life. I found every element of this film to be superb. The script was clever and crafted to create a range of emotions while keeping the viewers engaged and entertained. The animation and CGI was technically and creatively brilliant. The dwarfs were larger than life and true to their descriptions in Grimms' original story. The casting was perfect as well. And last, but certainly not least, the titular character of Snow White was flawlessly portrayed by Rachel Zeigler (West Side Story). Her vocals were angelic and her acting was seamless. The audience laughed and cried and applauded at the end of the film. A true classic from Disney.

I understand what I am getting into with Hallmark films. I am able to suspend disbelief and ignore production issues. However, from the start, this one is a train wreck that cannot be salvaged. The acting is similar to what you would see in a small town, community theater. A good director may have been able to work with the actors but it was obvious, they didn't know what to do. The story is implausible and cliche but that is what makes Hallmark charming sometimes. But this one is just too formulaic and relies on bad stereotypes and poorly developed characters and almost no backstory. The cinematography is pretty good which is why I rate a 3/10. Otherwise, that would be too generous. How this has a 7/10 rating gives me serious doubts about imdb's credibility.

The cliche missing hard drive, cliche gangsters, horrible acting, directing and the worst script ever produced in history all combine to make she s giant stinking pile of poo. The few story elements that aren't completely predictable are too implausible to accept. I feel so bad for Ashley Greene and Nicholas Cage. I am not sure why or how they got roped into this amateur project but the Director should be relegated to Hallmark films. Imagine a group of twelve-year-olds tried to make a sequel to the horrible Miami Vice movie and they were all Quentin Tarantino fans, this is the film they would come up with.
