This series is full of scientific misrepresentations and misinformation. For example:

* Throughout the series, they use plastic masks. The speaker's voice too is muffled as a result. Why even use masks at all?

* Peptides aren't suddenly inherited just because they were obtained from a plant for generations.

* Extracting CSF doesn't even require entering the brain, and is mostly safe. It is extracted from the spine. Certainly this procedure won't kill anyone.

As an aside, the series kept dragging on the story at a glacial pace that was too slow to maintain interest. I found myself watching at 1.25x and 1.5x speeds, fast-forwarding as I went along, until I ultimately abandoned the series when I lost interest completely.
