Wow, he's back. The shrilling sound, the stressful music. The beautiful moving images. Argento is a true master and finally we get to see his master work again. Don't miss it! I also want to want any sensitive viewers that this is truly horrifying. We get to follow a blind woman that struggles to find a serial killer in Rome. By her side is a young Chinese man helping her out and guiding her from scene to scene. As the story continues it becomes clear that the murderer is someone that she knows. This turns the horror into elevated suspension as we the viewers hold our breaths to try and find out who the killer is before it's too late ⏰
The so cute Ryan Gosling as a stone cold assassin? I think probably Willy Wonka or Pee-Wee Herman would be more credible. Despite the ketchup they poor on him as blood, this flick has no content and no acting what so ever. It is about 2 hours of meaningless Hollyweird sadistic violence and CG explosions. Waste of time.
I'm still not sure if this is a parody or not. Lady Gaga and the other cast made me laugh as they speak English with, I assume, their Hollyweird version of an Italian accent. Sometimes a couple of Italian words are thrown in. "Ciao". An embarrassment either way.
