So, since CBS moved the new Magnum PI to Friday night, after Hawaii 5-0, I decided to give it another look. I had stuck through S1E1&E2 back in September of 2018. I gave it 3 stars. I was very disappointed with all of the characters ant the writers. I have watched the last 4 episodes as reruns, and it is growing on me. Not as much as the remake of Hawaii 5-0 but I'm interested to see where this will go.
And I'm glad it isn't. I really never cared for the cartoon version of Dumbo, and I was extremely hesitant about seeing this one also. Basically I didn't know what to expect because I had only seen one preview. However, I realized that it was outstanding from 10 minutes in. There is only one movie that I cried more at and that was The Passion of the Christ. But this movie, at least 72% of the time, I was crying. It will probably never get an Oscar, but I think it deserves one. This is the best "live action" film from a previous animation that Disney has ever done. Thank you to all who made this movie so special, especially Tim Burton.
I knew I was one episode behind and wanted to be caught up for the series finale tonight. I'm trying to be polite, and at least ABC allowed The Crossing to finish out it's season. I still have The Good Doctor next season, and oh my how hard it was to say goodbye to Once Upon A Time. Now I'm going to let ABC know what I think of their crappy programming...I will NEVER lower myself to watch the KARDASHIANS on ABC Sunday night game channel. Or any of the Batchelor/Proposal/American Idol... I'm always afraid to watch any of your programs, because someone might get the idea that I like all of these shows because I watch one or two of your tv shows. So many freakin commercials.
