Semi retired treasury agent Raymond King is ambushed in a bingo parlor. He's been tracking a killer. Before he dies, he writes on his arm Find the Accountant. At the morgue, former assistant Mary Beth reads this and gets in touch with the man who helped them 8 years before, Christian Wolff - Ben Affleck. In Kings rented home, the two find a folder of photos and entries which seem disconnected . Yet Wolff soon finds the connections. To find Kings killer, they will be fighting dangerous human trafficking cartels plus one female contract killer. Wolff therefore enlist his brother Braxton - Jon Bernthal - to help. Children are at risk as well. Moreover, the brothers operations upset Mary Beth as they "bend " the law. Can these 3 win against top killers? This exciting film has its moments of confusion and incredulity. Nevertheless, the cast makes it special. There are also funny scenes where Wolff attempts to try speed dating and line dancing. Viewers will absolutely root for the good guys to knock off as many bad guys as possible!
Lou Gehrig - Gary Cooper - is an outstanding athlete as a youngster. He once hits a baseball so far it crashes into a house near a baseball diamond. Naturally, Lou's parents commit him to paying tor new window. Both blue collar workers, Mama Gehrig is a cook at Columbia University. This is by design, as her son Lou can go to college and become an engineer at far less expense. Lou's secret is he wants to be a professional baseball player, not an engineer. When his Mother falls ill, Lou signs a contract with the Yankees to get money for her hospital care. She doesn't know. As he becomes a Star and marries a woman he loves, Lou seems to have the world on a string. But, in his 30s, Lou suddenly is hit with great fatigue and muscle trouble. What could be wrong? This heartbreaking but fine film does hommage to one of the greatest baseball players of all time. Lou Gehrig was an outstanding player, nicknamed the Iron Horse because he played in over 2000 consecutive games. In the shadow of Babe Ruth, Lou filled the record books and lived a life as a decent, kind man. However, he was struck by ALS in his prime, ending his career. There won't be a dry eye in the house as you watch his amazing story.
Gertie - Jane Fonda - has a husband and 5 children in 1940s Kentucky Appalachia. She dreams of owning her own farm and saves regularly. Part of the money comes from dolls and creatures she hand carves. However, when her husband Clovis gets rejected by the army, he moves to Detroit to work in a war machine factory. He INSISTS she bring the family. Reluctantly, Gertie does. Now, the family can't grow vegetables and must learn city life. The Union takes part of Clovis pay while the children have trouble adjusting to schools where they are teased and ridiculed. When Clovis' factory goes on strike, what will happen to this family? This film, based on a classic novel, is riveting. Fonda is entirely believable as the poor, overworked Mother who never gives up. Her special talents make a difference to everyone, despite grave happenings. Tune it in wherever you can find it.
