Creep 1 & 2 are great movies. Inventive and playing with great psychology between the characters. This show could've been similar, but I wish the episodes were 45 minutes instead of 22 minutes.
This series is basically the first movie condensed into 22 minutes for each episode with the same formula. It's watchable, even fun, but there's nothing remotely new here. It's exactly what you expect, minus the tension and WTF of the movies. You know exactly what to expect here.
The last 2 episodes try to buck that trend, but with weak results, derivative of psycho, and honestly a sort of embarrassing attempt at being edgy.
I wanted to love this show. I'm still happy they made it. I watched it through to the end. But ultimately, it's just not that good. :-(

Like others, I have seen all of the Bad Ben movies, and I think some of them are great considering the context in which they're made (The Way In, The Haunted Highway). Some less so (Pandemic, Crescent Moon Clown).
Bad Ben: Benign, however, is painfully bad, and considering it's the 9th in the series, there's no slack to give it. I'm not sure why Nigel made this one considering there's no story or new ideas, except for the very end of the movie, perhaps to set up the next movie. But it's not enough of a justification for an entire movie of improvised monotony. It expects way too much good will on behalf of the fans.

I agree with what others have said, past episodes deserve 10/10s, but also have shocking action and character fates that get automatic 10/10s. But this episode outdoes them. To avoid spoilers, this episode might have the best "type-of-scene" near the end of the episode in television history. To me, this is Better Call Saul's "Ozymandias" even though it's not a tense thrill ride. It doesn't have to be. It's just excellent.
