First of all, when I first watched the official trailer of the movie I liked it and I had high expectations about it. Eventually, it was as good as I had imagined and I enjoyed it. The movie synopsis was very interesting and mysterious, but it wasn't innovative because there are many movies similar to this one. The storyline was kinda well-written and well-explained, however I'm not really sure if I believe what happened or not. The characters were very interesting, well-developed and kinda likeable. The casting choices were nice and their performances were descent. I have to admit, the 1st and 2nd act of the movie were something like an introduction to the family and it felt more of a dramatic movie, rather than a horror one. However, the 3rd act was probably the most intense and scariest part of the movie. In my opinion, I'm not sure if I would consider this a horror movie, because there weren't many jumpscares and the only creepy thing about this movie, it was the demon's appearance. Overall, "The Deliverance" was a nice horror/drama film, kinda intense, scary during the 3rd act and I would probably recommend it to my friends!
First of all, I have to admit I'm a fan of the OG film and the sequel and when they announced that they were making a new movie I was super excited about it. So, I went to the cinema to watch the movie and I have to admit, it was as good as I had imagined and I enjoyed it, a lot. The movie synopsis was very interesting and mysterious, but it wasn't innovative because it was exactly the same as the OG movie. The storyline was very well-written and well-explained, even though it was simple and easy to understand. The main characters (group of friends) were very interesting, well-developed and likeable. The casting choices were perfect and their performances were great, they all did a great job of portraying their characters. In my opinion, it was a very intense movie, action-filled and there were some great chase scenes (even though they weren't as long as the OG movie had). Regarding the killcount of the movie, gladly it was higher than before, it was very bloody and there were some very brutal kills (however, there were some off-screen kills). The opening scene was kinda predictable, fast-paced and promising. The 2nd act was full of death scenes, chase scenes and I enjoyed it, a lot. Moreover, I have to say that the 3rd act and the killer reveal were both kinda unpredictable and they were really nice, however I'm sure most fans will have mixed feelings about it. Furthermore, the whodunnit element of this movie was PERFECT and way better than the previous movies, I mean everyone was a suspect. By the way, I would consider this movie kinda scary, because there were some sudden jumpscares during the movie. Last but not least, the cinematography and the soundtrack/score of the movie were beautiful. Overall, "I Know What You Did Last Summer" was a great requel, bloodier, darker, scarier and kinda funnier than before and I would definitely recommend it to anyone! I'm definitely looking forward to a sequel and this movie definitely have the potential to revive the franchise.
First of all, I have to admit when I first watched the official trailer of the movie I kinda liked it, but I didn't had high expectations about it. Eventually, it was kinda better than I had imagined and I enjoyed it! The movie synopsis was very interesting, but it wasn't innovative because there are many movies similar to this one. The storyline was well-written and well-explained, even though it was simple, goofy and easy to understand. The characters weren't really interesting, nor well-developed, but they were funny and likeable. The casting choices were nice and the kids did a good job of portraying their characters. I wouldn't consider it a scary movie, because there weren't any jumpscares and this movie had a comedic tone. However, the vampire's appearance was kinda creepy (especially, their facial expressions). There were some nice action-filled moments during the movie, however it wasn't as intense as I would like. Regarding the ending, it was absolutely predictable, but I still enjoyed it. Overall, "Vampires vs the Bronx" was a fun vampire film, funny, fast-paced and I would probably recommend it to my friends!
